Thankfully in Ireland the Trad Catholics lead the way in getting back to the land. Ruralism is of vital importance as is this political vehicle who have made this video. It's up to us folks. Many coming down the line are wet behind the ears but the calibre of youth leaves alot to be desired.
There is such an assault on the family, the family farm and ruralism in general. Those of us for the Catholic Irish Ireland must lead the way and act. I have included the short video from Justin Barrett. There is no other Ireland other than the Irish Ireland.

There's good info in the videos, but none of them mention God or the Catholic Faith. Surely a return to a historic Ireland would include the Catholic faith.
I'd like to ask what the attitude is of the National Party in Ireland to the views of Hiliare Belloc. Belloc was of course also in favor of the return of land ownership to the citizens of a country, though he mainly focused on the situation in England, in which much the land was confiscated by the elites in England after the Reformation (they took the land owned by the Church).
For Belloc, he believed that land ownership by the regular citizens is the basis of a truly free society, whether the land is farmed, or used for some other business purpose.

The point that Meg makes is indeed correct. It is self evident. The rally for life next Saturday in Dublin won't make any mention of God or the church but it will be mainly Catholics attending. When people became serious about a movement in Ireland it was years too late.
Christian Democrats with their hearts in right place took stabs at it but never really had the support of the Irish people. I had actually logged on to push for scouting and the need for organisations for the women folk. I did mention the calibre of youth are declining.
Saying that there are still many patriotic Catholic girls. Surely a young Trad girl could establish the League of Irish Catholic Girls. Patriotic girls. Plenty of work needed with boys too. A few camps take place here but there has to be a scouting movement.
When you realise it is up to us there is great pride but also a great responsibility. The land and ruralism is a great place to start.
