  • Philomena, thank you for your recent posts standing up for decency of language.  I was going to write something similar but you took the words right out of my mouth! There's no call for immodest and unladylike language and you were the first one to speak up with fortitude.  God bless you!

  • I am so sorry. ;-(

    I was trying to directly answer the questions asked of me. :cry:  I  sincerely apologize and I really feel awful now. I am so embarrassed.

    ~For we are saved by hope. But hope that is seen, is not hope. For what a man seeth, why doth he hope for? But if we hope for that which we see not, we wait for it with patience. ~ Romans 8:24-25

  • Thank you for your kind words, Flannery.

    PW, when anyone offers a gentle correction. especially when done in a spirit of Catholic charity, it is done so with the intention of helping a person.  My post was in no way intended to make you feel bad or embarrassed.

    Remember, we are to perform the Spiritual Works of Mercy

        To instruct the ignorant;
        To counsel the doubtful;
        To admonish sinners;
        To bear wrongs patiently;
        To forgive offenses willingly;
        To comfort the afflicted;
        To pray for the living and the dead.

    As Catholics we should desire to aid each other in sanctification, I want you to get to Heaven!  We ALL are learning and hopefully growing in holiness every moment we're here on earth.  I welcome when someone more learned than myself offers me help and direction, it means they care about my salvation.
