A Catholic teacher's claim that he was fired after marrying his gαy partner soon after same-sex marriage was made legal in California has prompted a Web-based push to see him reinstated.
The petition drive in support of English instructor Ken Bencomo on the website of social advocacy group Change.org has gathered over 9,000 signatures from his former students and people as far away as Spain since it was launched earlier this week.
The high school teacher and his partner were among a wave of same-sex couples who married after a U.S. Supreme Court ruling in June cleared the way for gαy weddings to resume in California for the first time since 2008.

Maybe we could start our own online show of support for the Catholic school that follows Catholic teachings.
Kind of hard to ignore the fact that this fag remained gainfully employed by the school right up until his "marriage." I likewise find it exceedingly difficult to believe that his fαɢɢօtry was kept a total secret right up until the moment he and his partner in deviltry decided to avail themselves of the Supreme Court's wicked ruling.
My guess is that he minced and lisped and flamed up and down the halls with impunity, the lovable token fag mascot of the school. It was only when he crossed the arbitrarily drawn line of "gαy marriage" that any action was taken (as though fαɢɢօtry only becomes censurable for Catholics when it appropriates for itself the status of matrimony).
But then, "Who Am I To Judge?"TM
Yeah well, I really don't think that they could have brought this guy in previously and said "we're letting you go because you, uh, seem pretty gαy". That would have been asking for a lawsuit. Now this guy doesn't have a leg to stand on in litigation because he publicly went against Catholic teaching. Even if the school failed to respond appropriately in the beginning, is that a reason to not support them when they do make the right move?
As previously stated, I doubt very much that a queer who is so open and public in his perversity that he takes immediate advantage of the availability of fag "marriage" in his state was so discreet during his tenure as a teacher that no clue to his evil life was given beyond, as you put it, "seeming pretty gαy." fαɢɢօts revel in wearing their fαɢɢօtry on their sleeves, shoving it in the faces of others and demanding it be accepted as "normal." And the fact that this fαɢɢօt got "married" to his partner in buggery is proof that he is a fag of just this variety.
I have no doubt that references to his "boyfriend" and fag parades and the "LGBT community" were dropped on a regular basis. And, knowing full well how rife American Catholic schools are with doctrinal and moral corruption, I have no difficulty believing that the modernist faculty would look the other way in the face of this evil (or, worse, actively support it).
If a Catholic school has manifest knowledge that one of the teachers in their employ is a sodomite, it is their duty to remove him / her IMMEDIATELY, not when some arbitrarily drawn legalistic threshold makes it convenient to do so. If it brings a lawsuit, so be it. Innocent souls are in mortal peril in such a situation, and if the cost of taking immediate action to stop that peril is being sued, or even having to close down the school, so be it. It is a small price to pay.
I find it unreasonable that you find it unreasonable that I hold Catholic schools to a Catholic standard. I will continue to hold them to that standard, whether or not they have relieved themselves of the burden. Put your proposed petition in front of me and I will sign it, but I refuse to applaud Catholic institutions for moving slowly to act on grave evil operating within their midst. That attitude is precisely why sodomite pederasts were able to go on raping children with impunity from parish to parish across the western world. And allowing innocent children to be held captive day in and out by an agenda-driven fαɢɢօt with a licence to indoctrinate is not one whit less an example of child abuse in need of immediate and decisive action.
