But women should keep in mind that they can be forgiven for abortion, as long as they repent. It will be hard for them once they wake up and realize what they've done but God is forgiving.
Catholics are so hard on abortion, necessarily, that it would tend to make women who had one defiant. But women have been propagandized since birth and many don't even know what they're doing is wrong.
Telesphorus posted a good sermon today from St. John Chrysostom saying that almost any sin can be forgiven. I'd say that ANY sin can be forgiven that we commit before we know Christ, except of course ѕυιcιdє.
St. Paul participated in the murder of Christians, at the very least condoned these murders. I myself did immoral things, things that now appear to me as gross and nauseating, and I have no idea how I could have even done them. But I was ignorant. I lived as the Romans lived, and very easily could have participated in an abortion, though it never came to that.
