I am sure that anyone who would associate Jesus with Christmas would need psychological theropy.
An absolutely anti-Catholic statement! A basic teaching of the church is the connection between Christmas and Good Friday.
As far as the intent of the school, yes it is consciously persecuting Catholics. In the New York case, DiBari V Bedford, an important legal precedent was set to prevent public schools from persecuting family religions, but the Catholic priests who were the witnesses to help win that case went back into protecting their private careers after that, and the Church has done nothing to keep that issue alive.
Some of the important evidence in that case was a training itinerary provided by a concerned Massachusetts teacher, an actual anti-Catholic himself, who was ORDERED by the state to attend a training session that included how to undermine ʝʊdɛօ-christian religious culture in the public schools K-3.
That material was what tipped the Court to consider that intentional religious persecution was going on, and not, as the Bedford school tried to claim, accidental "insensitivity".
Why isn't the Church doing something? In
MASSACHUSETTS? Well, that's a subject for at least three other threads, isn't it?
The major problem is that too many Catholics have their heads buried in ecclesiastic details completely disconnected from the real fight that is being waged by normal laity who are courageous enough to go to the La Salette shrine in the first place.
If you do not recognize that the young boy in question is a martyr, right here, right now, then, Satan get thee behind me.
