It is a beautiful church, how heart breaking that it is being violated in such a fashion.

  • I like the quote about "It's actually a different religion" below one of the pictures.

    How true.

Say what you will about the Novus Ordo, but the fringes of Conciliardom like this have certainly crossed the line into being less Catholic than many protestant services...

  • I hate to break the news to you Matthew, but this isn't "the fringes".  This is mainstream stuff, here.  It happens frequently enough all around the world that it can't be thought to be on the fringes by any means.

  • They are doing some idiotic dance, but I didn't see anything that could be mistaken for the actions of a priest.
Stir up within Thy Church, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the Spirit with which blessed Josaphat, Thy Martyr and Bishop, was filled, when he laid down his life for his sheep: so that, through his intercession, we too may be moved and strengthen by the same Spir

  • I have to agree with Sigismund here, after watching the videos (with much fast forwarding), I didn't see anything that might be construed as 'stealth priestesses' except maybe in a remote sense.  I did see some crappy new hymns, boring 'vestments' and a pretty banal (even by NO standards) attempt at a liturgical dance, the only thing missing was copious amounts of felt banners as decoration.  A pretty standard ride on the Novus Ordo fail-train.

I agree, it looks like it was a really nice Church, I can only imagine what the high alter looked like before the wreckovations began.
