  • I was reading Dr. Drolesky's article on "Let You Yea be Yea."
In it he mentions persons who wanting to destroy the Church by winning arguments with Catholics in defending the Faith and what we believe, the must first get rid of the Summa and Thomastic teachings. Well, near as I can tell Vatican II (which is really council number 1 for the false church) has done just that.
I checked out Amazon and there is a set of 5 for $153.+. Forget It. Then there is St. Thomas's Summa of the Summa.

What I am asking is what any of you would recommend as a starting point.

  • In your area, Dawn, there have to be some used bookstores that have old copies.  There might also be a Catholic library that has a copy you can take out for a bit.  That said, it is unlikely that you will just sit down and go through it like you would do with a regular textbook.  We will chat about it soon, my good lady.  God speed.

  • A similar summary version would be A Tour of the Summa sold by TAN. It's $22.50, though, so Amazon's option is a bit cheaper.

If you can get your hands on these summaries, it's probably better than the full version because, as Gladius said, it's not something you're going to pick up and read cover to cover.

  • It is also ALL online, and you could just print out certain articles that interest you.
