Saint Jane Francis de Chantal was heading to the convent chapel one day to pray. Encountering a young novice in the hallway, she said: why don't you join me in the chapel for prayer? The young nun answered: Sister, I really don't feel like praying right now. Whereupon Saint Jane retorted in her no-nonsense way: Sister, I haven't felt like praying in years! Now, let's go to the chapel and pray!"

Thanks so much for that, Magdalene. I thought I was the only one who doesn't feel like praying---esp. the rosary.

I finally found something that helps my easily turned mine stay on task. It is a very small book called the Scriptural Rosary. It says it is a modern version of the way the rosary was once prayed throughout Western Europe in the Late Middle Ages. Not too modern though as this copy was printed in 1961. From the Christianica Center, Chicago Illinois.
With each Ave there is an appropriate scripture reference to give your mind something to hold onto.
