  • Has anyone purchased or viewed this catechism?  What was your impression?  It is produced by mediatrix press.  They appear to have some good titles.

  • It is neat that it was first published in 1598.  That makes it pretty old.  I just now found a little sample on their website that I couldn't find before posting.  And, it looks like an interesting read, but from what I can currently see, it doesn't look spectacular.  It is a dialogue style.  But, the samples they showed didn't interest me too much.   I like the simple.  It seems quite complex, and nobody memorized complex.  The beauty of catechism like the baltimore catechism is that it can be memorized.

  • From those excerpts it seems this translation of Bellarmine is wonderful, and the content grand and ripe for inspiring meditation. Great for Eucharistic Adoration. Thanks for the heads up. Pax Christi+
