I was thinking about teaching in an SSPX school for a while, and here is what I was told (including by ex-teachers):
You can't earn a living wage. Especially not enough to support a family.
When it comes down to it, the Faithful can't (or won't) provide sufficient means to hire good teachers. They value things like the Seminary -- but a private school? A lot of them send their kids to public school, or they homeschool ("Our Lady homeschooled her Child. What's good enough for her is good enough for me.")
I roll my eyes because homeschooling is NOT the first best choice. A good Catholic school is. Unfortunately, I think they are very rare nowadays, even in good groups like the SSPX. You might get some good religion classes, but the education itself will be subpar at best. A lot of the young ladies they hire are just waiting to find husbands, and once they marry they're gone.
Much of what I know about SSPX and schools I gained from attending the Priests Meeting conference (50+ priests come to the seminary every February). It's for priests only, plus a few seminarians who have time to attend some of the talks. I got to record *all* the conferences and do post-production for them -- even one conference that only priests and deacons were allowed to purchase. It was on legal issues.
I personally plan to homeschool -- starting tomorrow as a matter of fact!
Our chapel is in one of the top 10 cities in America, population-wise, but we're not a "priory" (where 3 or more priests stay during the week) and hence we don't have a school. Our chapel once did, but our chapel is ANYTHING BUT on the up-and-up. If anything, our chapel is in steep decline. Any large young families move to St. Mary's, KS the first chance they get, or they stick around and most send their kids to public school.
