I saw it last night at the movie theatre with a lady friend here in Louisville.  It was pretty packed.  In fact, we got our tickets at the theatre; there were two people sitting in our seats, and apparently they bought their tickets online.   We compared tickets and they matched.  So much for modern technology making things better!

I can't help but think that Jim Caviezel can't tell everything he knows or has heard about things that go on behind the scenes in Hollywood, else he or his family might be in mortal danger, but at least he can make this movie, and do something even if he can't do all he'd like to.

He mentioned in one talk that someone had shown him a snuff film, where a child was tortured and killed.  But he refused to name this Satanic individual ... probably for the reasons you stated.

It's possible simply because a lot of non-profits (and other organizations meant to help people) are suspect and/or completely un-transparent with how they use their money and time. This is just one side of the story, though.
