    • ...says the man who has absolutely no authority or influence.

    Why didn't he change things when in his dioceses when he was bishop of La Crosse or the archbishop of St. Louis?  Perhaps he's changed his mind on many things, but why is it I doubt very much he would ever put his newfound support into action should he ever be appointed to a position of authority?
