I haven't seen modern movies like Frozen but I saw a youtube video today on Shrek 1 and 2 and so much propaganda was pointed out. Stuff I never noticed as a child.
I know Disney gets a bad rep from trads but I haven't seen Disney films in so long that I haven't noticed (though if i rewatched them I would notice).
Oh yes. It's not the sex & violence that's the main problem with modern movies. That stuff is easily noticed, and easily censored. Every fundamentalist Protestant has a problem with that stuff.
The real problem is the hundreds of subtle ideas and attitudes, assumptions put into these movies.
Things totally unrealistic that NEVER happen in real life, but portrayed as true in these Hollywood fantasies. Remember, in a Hollywood fantasy, you could serve the devil and be happy, or serve God and be miserable! Literally anything can be portrayed as possible or true in these insane fantasies. That's why you can't place yourself under their spell, knowing WHO owns Hollywood (the ѕуηαgσgυє of satan).
Movies portray characters VERY SIMILAR to real life -- people like you and I. People like our fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers. They are given certain beliefs, attitudes, behaviors, which they show on-screen. These things are subconsciously absorbed and imitated by impressionable minds. These things SEEM like reality, and we incorporate it -- without wanting to -- into our "big picture" worldview, sort of like bad/fake data but we don't treat it as such.
"I feel like gαys can marry and be happy too." Yeah -- you've seen it somewhere, so you FEEL like it's possible -- but unfortunately it's only in fantasy-land that it's possible. fαɢɢօtry is fundamentally selfish, and literally CAN'T be the same wholesome mutual giving-of-self that is God's holy Marriage. A married couple is looking forward to raising children for heaven, and working (outside and inside the home) to that end, with years of sacrifice. Two gαys marrying CAN ONLY be seeking one thing: debased pleasure. End of list.
Normally we get data from the outside world through the 5 senses, and use it to form our worldview/big picture. Imagine being able to control a certain % of the inputs for millions of people! That's Hollywood.
