Title: Sky pictures
Post by: Thorn on September 09, 2013, 12:28:03 PM
Last nite, Venus & a crescent moon hung in the western horizon for your viewing pleasure.  A vision of beauty!  Hopefully it will be there tonite too in case you missed it.
And they say there is no God!!

I saw it- but I thought it was Jupiter?? I need to get my telescope out! My girls like looking through it. And seeing Jupiter's moons is great!

Thanks for telling us. I missed it last night, but I'll check it out late tonight since I'll be trekking on foot as exercise. Hopefully, the skies will be clear.

Yes, I saw it! Was it there the night before last as well? I think I recall seeing it then.

s2s, the news said that it was Venus.  And quite brilliant & twinkly too!  By all means have your girls see it!
Jen, I don't know about the nite before.  I just heard it on the news.  I'm hoping it will be out in that configuration tonite.

Hey!  Where's my stalker (or my flea as I call him) to give me a down-thumb?
Maybe he's taking a nap.   I'll wait.
