    • In revolutionary times, telling the truth is a revolutionary act (Orwell).

    It doesn’t make the GOP legit (and I believe the Texas GOP is conspicuous by its lone proclamation), but sometimes it is heartening just to read someone saying it out loud.

    Soon, you won’t be able to, and self-evident truths like this will become “hate crimes.”
