Title: should priests continue public mass
Post by: Marys Anawim on April 08, 2020, 09:41:13 AM
So we do not take sides so to speak with TLM so long as the mass is reverent and not preaching any heresy and the NO is not said at that parish/church...we believe that because of the diabolical disorientation taking place no one place is the "right" place...we have attended diocesan, SSPX, SSPV, resistance, independent, etc and while they all have great things they also all have things we are not in complete agreement with because of the confusion going on today. SO at the end of the day we go to mass where we can. That being said with all the recent masses being shut down, which my husband and I completely disagree with, the SSPX near us was continuing until this week someone called the police who then threatened to impose fines if another public mass was held.
Now my personal opinion is that priests are here to give their lives for the sheep, just as parents are to give their lives for their children, if the need arises. Therefore unless ordered by the bishop they should continue to say mass even if it means they will be fined, arrested, etc.
We just watched the movie Scarlett in the black for the second time in about 10 years and it proved the point of what I am saying.
I do not want to be insensitive to the priests...we pray for them regularly, but this to me is an attack from the evil one...
your opinions?

I admire the FSSP Priests hearing confessions. The first law of the Church is the Salvation of Souls.  I side with the
Priests against the Bishop.
Even at the height of the influenza of 1918-1919 and a real pandemic the Priests where not ordered by their
Bishops not to hear confessions to satisfy the orders from authorities.
Bataar: Read the attached article:

Bishop Scheider recently said that Priests do not have to obey their Bishop in closing the churches and the public
celebration of the Mass. This is also can be applies to receiving the sacraments and hearing confessions.
No surrender to the globalist one world order and Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ.
