I had seen a movie of Romeo and Juliet when I was a youth, and I was wondering recently where to find it, I couldn't find that version and it confused me. Eventually I found out that it was made by the BBC which then led me to find out that the BBC from the late 70's into the early to mid 80's had made for TV every single play by William Shakespeare. I have now watched a few.

Two Gentlemen of Verona(It was ok, but I liked the SSPX schoolboys version better in some of the ways it was acted)
Comedy of Errors(I really thought this one was hilarious and probably a good intro to those who havn't seen much Shakespeare before)
Much Ado about nothing(I saw this one last night and it may be my favourite so far, great story an characters, the one plotline of the two people who rail against marriage and love to argue being tricked into falling in love with each other was great, I'd of probably rather liked to have seen the other plotline end with Don John being hanged instead of "I'll get to him later" lol)
Love's labour lost(This one was good, I don't think it was that great, but it was funny, I liked the part when the group is pledging the vows they're making and how they'd pledged to make the vows, the one says "not look upon a lady for 3 years? I thought it was a jest!")
Merchant of Venice(This is one of my favourite plays, I have also seen this in another film with Al Pacino as the evil Jєω, but this one dosn't have any immodest scenes so I'll rate it as higher even though Al Pacino played a great Shylock in that other movie)
Romeo and Juliet(This is a good performance of Romeo and Juliet, I remembered it from when I was a youth so it must be good)


Anyone else seen these? Did you like them? I am by far not a critic of plays and I had only seen a couple before I found these, there are 37 in total and I'm enjoying watching them.
