    • Just avoid TV.  For every good or even harmless thing there (and there are a few good or harmless things)  There will be fifty worthless things.

    The problem with the internet is you can go to an innocent enough site...but the ads are basically soft porn.

    At least with the television you can change the channel.

    I like TV for classic movies, some docuŠ¼entaries and sports (baseball and some other small venue sports).  

    I do agree that most TV is pure trash.

    • Several years ago, when Netflix came out with streaming, we abandoned television entirely. What's the point? 14 minutes of tv, 26 minutes of ads. The 14 minutes of tv isn't even that good anyway.
