My home state, Arizona has passed a freedom of religious liberty act. Essentially, it protects people from backlash when they don't want to serve certain people due to their religious convictions. (For example the bakery that was run out of business with unaffordable legal fees when they were sued by a gαy couple for whom they refused their services.)
