I heard that both Palin and Beck were Catholic at one time.

Sarah Palin’s new book could easily be subtitled, “A Pro-Life Story.” Like threads woven through a baby blanket, pro-life observations run throughout America By Heart:  Reflections on Family, Faith, and Flag.

true, pray for her, for she is a deceiver AND deceived.....but, that is how the $$ keeps on rolling in and one gets that seat at the table.....

Lifesite motto-keep voting GOP......

I agree with your sentiment, Belloc.  But what else do you propose?  Voting GOP seems to be our best hope of avoiding communism/socialism, expanded abortion "rights," etc. other liberal nonsense.

Like you, I'm less than pleased with the GOP--not happy at all, frankly.  I'm not arguing with you--I would truly wish there was an alternative.

What is it? or How do we bring it about?

I'll say it's going to be hard to sell me on anything that involves giving up too much ground in the short-run--not that I can't see/think long-term, but I believe if we give up much more than we did in 2008, we may fall over the brink of no return!

I am not a Palin fan.  She is a fallen away Catholic.  The N.O. is likely to thank for that.  But in any event, I strongly prefer not supporting a fallen away Catholic.  Besides, I simply don't think she is up to the job.

That said, if she's the nominee and there's not a third-party candidate who I think can actually win some states, I'll begrudgingly vote for her.
