    • As you all know, many trads have few, if any, trad relatives.  A married couple at my chapel has several children.  From what I understand, their only relatives that are trads are a cousin and the cousin's husband.  So, the cousin and cousin's husband are godparents to all of their children.  I know this would have been unusual in the past, when a couple often had a myriad of family members to act as godparents, but do you see anything wrong with it in the current climate?

    • Grandparents as godparents is something I've noticed.  Thank Goodness these parents attempt to select those who actually practice the Faith, and the pickings are slim.
