Prostitution in Ireland is mainly associated with immigrant women. Given these sisters involvement in Magdalen Laundries there are often objections made.

There is a world of difference between the moral crusades of Frank Duff and the Legion of Mary and Ruhama.

Ruhama which is well funded was set up to tackle an imported problem.The problem of immigrant criminal gangs and immigrant prostitutes. They should be repatriated from Ireland. Prostitution is an organised money racket.

I doubt many of the religious sisters are actually involved in rescuing these women. What Frank Duff and the Legion did was much different. They helped women who were bona fide not criminals.

This problem usually involves human trafficking and slavery. In most of these situationis the women are usually the victims. It is also a situation where women who know what they are doing are the most competent to handle these situations. There is a long tradition in the Catholic Church of rescuing women from prostition.

I don't dispute the long tradition of rescuing women but what happens now differs. An imported problem being brought about by the social engineers. There is a world of difference between what the likes of Frank Duff and the Legion of Mary were doing and what is happening now.

When you are talking about immigrant women, prostitution, and rape crisis many times what you are talking about is human traficking and slavery. This is a world wide situation. I believe the solution will vary with the individual. Many of these girls were brought there under false pretenses. This is a good work by the Church to be involved in. It is truly a rescue.

You are getting your thoughts on the subject from what has been propagated by the UN and other NWO organizations.

You think in most situations (meaning the majority of prostitutes) the women are usually the victims. -- This is totally false.

In the western world there are very little to no sex slaves--Women choose to be a prostitute! Some of them are part of criminal organizations and things but they are still choosing to do it, they can leave whenever they want to.

In the non-western world, a sizable minority of sex workers are most likely forced to do it. --But even there the women choose to do it!

Quit believing in the crap you get from the NWO.

When talking about immigration, prostitution, and rape crisis that is true. There are sex slaves. While there may be some women who benefit in these criminal organizations the vast majority do not. Some who may have been tricked into joining soon find out that it's not what they thought it would be. those who tr to leave criminal organizations usually end up being killed.

In Mewat district in the northern state of Haryana the situation is particularly acute: there are 879 women for every 1,000 men. The national average is 927 women for 1,000 men.

As many men cannot find women to marry, bride trafficking has become prevalent. Girls are bought from their families in other states when they are still young and married to local men.

They are often badly treated both within the home and in the wider community where they are seen as outsiders.

The BBC's Akanksha Saxena and Neha Sharma met some of these women.

Salma was trafficked from the north-eastern state of Assam when she was only 12.

Her husband, Aas Mohammed, chose Salma over another trafficked girl and paid $60 (£38) for her to the trafficker.

Salma looks different from the women in her village in Haryana.

It took her a long time to get used to the language and social mores of her new home.

Over the years, Salma gave birth to nine children in quick succession. She says she was abused by her husband and was treated as a slave

The trafficker openly admits to trading women for marriage in Haryana.

"I have helped so many men find a wife... It is a noble cause," he says.

Shafiq-ur Rahman Khan, founder of NGO Empower People, which is working to curb bride trafficking in the region, says the traffickers target the poorest villages in India - usually in states like Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Orissa, Assam and West Bengal - to source the women.

"I know of local traffickers who have sold and resold women. One such, by a modest count, sold close to 600 women in this region alone," he says.

Many traffickers operate behind the facade of "match-making bureaus" who claim to arrange weddings. They mostly avoid being caught because of lax law enforcement by the police and because abused women rarely lodge complaints.

Ghausia Khan was 14 years old when she was trafficked from Hyderabad in southern India and married to a man in Haryana.

Now she works for an NGO which supports trafficked women. She also wants to stand for election.

She says "laidback bureaucrats and obnoxious traffickers" are to blame for the situation, and is resolute about bringing change if elected to power.

Roshini's parents sold her to a trafficker out of desperation to feed their younger children.

She is from Jharkhand and was barely 13 when she was sold.

She was thrown out of the house after her husband died and lives in a shack with her nine children.

Now she says she is terrified because her husband's brother, who wants to marry her, visits her and threatens her if she does not marry him.

Guess what. Here in America there are sex and work slaves. They come from Asia, Russia, South America and forced into prostitution by their own people. Many of these sex slaves are children. And there are women that choose to be prostitutes.
