  • And it took place the same year that Pope Francis "consecrated" the world to Our Lady's IH...not drawing any conclusions or anything such as that...just pointing it out
…and it happened during “pride month”

  • I have a hard time believing this is actually going to happen.  I hope I'm wrong.
Praise be to God.  I can't believe this actually happened.

Yes DL, I know and was going to state that fact but I saw it on another thread so didn't want to be repetitive...though good news always welcomes repitition.

If you're not drawing any conclusions from that, then why did you "point" it out?

Why would there be any connection in the first place?  Did Russia convert?

The decision certainly comes from God.

As regards Francis’s consecration, on the one hand, we know it certainly did not meet our Lady’s request (per Sr. Lucy at Tuy in 1929, who stated it was to mention Russia and nothing but Russia).

On the other hand, could our Lady still be desirous of obtaining this particular benefit (connected or unconnected to Francis’s consecration), while awaiting an obedient and exact consecration before granting the conversion of Russia?  Of course.

One thing Sr. Lucy said at Tuy was that the results of the consecration would be conspicuous, and there would be no doubt that the effects were the direct result of the consecration.  Maybe I’m blinded, but that doesn’t seem to be the case here.

So it would seem a little tenuous that both cause and effect would be missing in attributing this decision to the consecration:

Francis did not do what our Lady asked, and this decision was not what she promised (additionally, there are no Russians converting en masse, and Russia still spreads its errors).

But again, that is not at all to say heaven did not obtain this glorious decision.  In fact, I believe it surely did. It just may have done so for reasons other than the consecration (such as those mentioned in the sermon thread).

I'm unclear what your position is on the consecration and its possible connection with the USSC decision.

I see no connection whatsoever.  You're right in saying it wasn't what Mary promised and Bergoglio didn't do what she asked.  Furthermore, Russia has not converted. [and I'm not even touching upon whether he is a true pope which would negate any attempts in the first place]. I also do not see why Mary would want others to even think is it a result of the "consecration".

I completely agree that this decision has come with God's help...possibly through Mary's intercession.

And so it begins. I personally foresee a lot of state abortion bans being challenged and blocked in court.

Probably, but none of them have a chance, since the overturning of Roe kicks it back to the states.
