  • If you are, or plan to soon be retired from the work-a-day world, what do you plan to do with your time on a daily, weekly basis?  Do you have long term plans or goals (like visiting every national park in the country)?

  • My husband is busy making things: wood crafts, some welding. He goes to Pinetrest for ideas.  Me, the other half, never retires!  There is plenty to do around the house, and exercise class.  When I grocery shop, I shop for reduced meat, take it to the church freezer (tithing) and it is given to the poor of the church. Once in a while we go fishing, or a short trip, like Spokane.

  • I would like to be a very busy grandmother one day  :baby:

(still have more than 3 decades for "retirement" age, though)
If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ" Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit" (Jn 3:5) let him be anathema.

  • If you have free time, I suggest you start prepping.  Either the US/global economy is going to crash, or we'll be hit by natural disasters, or WW3 or some combo of all three.  I hate to be an alarmist, but the writing's on the wall.  Prep while you can.

I turn 60 in a couple of weeks, so I suppose I'm the right age. Since I have always been a housewife, I'm not sure what retirement would be for me.  I suppose I have retired from homeschooling my children although now I help with my grandchildren.

I have been blessed that most of my grandchildren live close enough for me to be involved in their lives.  It really is wonderful and I hope that you get your wish.
