Many traditionalists, of whatever stripe, take the position that the various stances are only opinions, and that any one person cannot bind anyone else in conscience to hold the exact same set of opinions that they do. We are all groping around in a kind of "fog of war" and it's been that way for decades.
Many do indeed, but few of them are clerics.
It seems that Traditionalist clerics have a certain "Pope complex", and like to create many dogmas out of thin air. Few of them are humble enough to admit that they don't have all the answers. They love binding consciences.
