  • Happy Fri 13 everyone. On this day in 1307( give or take 10 day for adoption of Gregorian Calendar--- which is calculated using Copernicus' Pruthenic Tables), the ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ Knights
Templars( who thought S rev around E) were arrested & executed by Pope Clement & King Philip.   :heretic:

Who also died within a year prophecised by De Molay himself just before he expired.

He also denied the Templars  ever being involved in fαɢɢօtry.

Unlike some other clergy and King Phillip himself.

On 18th March 1314, before being burnt at the stake, De Molay declared:

    "We die innocent.
But only in Heaven there is a judge before whom the feeble will never appeal without being heard.
Before this judge I call the Pope within 40 days, and you Philip, I expect within one year."[/

  • King Philip was murdered. Pope Clement was old & sick. If u are trying to indict them-- forget about it.

Who denied the Templars were ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖs? Not Philip or Clement-- thats for sure.

Phillip died on a hunting accident, actually I believe he had a brain aneurysm or a stroke, either way he was stricken within a year of Molay's murder and the pope was not that old, not even fifty at his death while legend has it that the church where his body lay in state was struck by lighting during a storm while a fire ensued and his body was burned beyond recognition.

De Molay, amongst others denied any ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ sin, as well as other heresies that they originally admitted under torture, that's why Phillip had them burned at the stake.

Phillip owed the Templars tons of money while Clement was a coward.

The Templars were framed and unfairly sentenced while their treasues were raided by the French monarchy.

You need to read up more on these things before you make false accusations.

  • Alaric is disputing the Magisterium of Holy Church which has never lifted condemnation of Templars.

    Hunting accident?????????????????????????

Philip & his sons were murdered. This is the end of the Capetians & the beginning of all the troubles in France.

Philip didn't owe Templars any money and their property went to Hospitallers--- not the Crown.  :reporter:

"The pope, irresolute and harrassed, finally adopted a middle course: he decreed the dissolution, not the condemnation of the order, and not by penal sentence, but by an Apostolic Decree (Bull of 22 March, 1312)."

There's no proof of any assasination, only that he died of a brain hemorrage during a hunting excursion, I don't know where you're getting he was "murdered".

"He suffered a cerebral ictus during a hunt at Pont-Sainte-Maxence (Forest of Halatte) and died a few weeks later in Fontainebleau, where he was born.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philip_IV_of_France

"Philip & his sons were murdered. "

One died of the pneumonia, the other of dysentery. Again, no proof of any assassination.

France was bankrupt before Phillip seized the Templars treasuer amd property, then became rich again shortly afterwards, you do the math. the Hospitallers did indeed take posession of their properties but not the money.

That's a stretch, what would make you think that?

Phillip was a scoundrel, he already did business with the Jєωs and then backstabbed them as well as the Lombard bankers before he went after Templar gold. This guy had issues and killed DeMolay and other Templars for nothing other than to rob them and steal what he could from the Order.

Does it not suprise you that the Templars were exonerated in every other country but France?

Phillip was bad news and Clement was a worm.
