  • So I was reading Cathmomof7's article and how her little girl loves our Blessed Mother. I thought that was beautiful. I think its important for all of us to instill in our children a love for God and his saints. I'll share what I do with my eldest daughter (3 yrs old), and would love to hear the little things you do with you children.

When we say our rosary in the evening, or whenever there's a crucifix, our conversation goes a little like this, "You see Jesus Aurora? Give him a kiss. (She does) Look at poor Jesus, He loves you. He wants you to love him to. Do you love him?" "Yes, I love Jesus". Melts my heart...

I do the same with her and our Lady. My mother has a beautiful, large, statue of Our Lady of Fatima in her entrance way. And I always pick up my daughter to kiss her feet.

My wife is a convert, and so much of this interaction with children and religion is new for her. But its beautiful that after my wife see's me show my daughter what to do, she does the same with her too.

What do you do with your little ones to instill a love of Christ?
