I'm treating this thread as a repository of quotes that caught my attention about the book. It doesn't have structure or consistency, it's just a bunch of ideas that I would like to preserve somewhere to revisit periodically.

However, check it out and maybe you'll find some that may catch your attention. If you haven't read the book I hope this thread inspires you to do it.

The Spanish translation that I read can be consulted here: Confesiones | Biblioteca Virtual Miguel de Cervantes (cervantesvirtual.com). It's not clear to me who was the translator, but the presentation was written by one I. Quiles, a Jesuit it seems.
