Question for the ladies

    • Ladies do you stare at men you find attractive/interested in? Also could you pray me in regards to this. I have noticed a young lady staring at me in my chapel so I am wondering how I should handle this. Whether you are a Catholic mother or a single lady I would like to hear your opinion on this.

    • I was taught not to stare at men I found attractive.  It was unbecoming a young lady.  If I was interested in that way, I might arrange a casual conversation and leave it up to the young man.

    • Been awhile for me, but I wouldn't "stare".  I might look over to see if he was looking over in the hopes there was mutual interest.  But he would have to try and talk with me. 

    I think it depends what you mean by "stare".  If a guy "stared" at me that would weird me out.  So is there something odd about her staring?  Also is it possible she's looking at something else?

    Now I know you all fine ladies wouldn't actually stare at a fella, that'd be rude, but I have to say that I've had more'n a few lovely gals look in my direction for what seemed an awful long time before. I'm a thinkin' our young friend Mr. Padua here is just tryin' to say that, not accusing anyone of anythin' improper.

    Either she is intersted in you or she recognizes you from your Youtube videos.  Or both!  Either way, go talk to her, but before doing that, don't just smile at her, wink at her. They eat that up.

    Umm...I wouldn't.  I'd rather have the smile.  A wink would have been too much for me and made me nervous!

    When I was single, if I was interested in someone I would casually watch them. There’s a lot you can learn about someone just by observing them. But definately not stare! The idea was that they were never suppose to know I observed them. :laugh1:

    I don’t know about that winking suggestion. I’d have been 100% embarrassed if someone would have winked at me!

    Now we are all curious about the details. We ladies love to see a good story unfolding. :popcorn:

    I was saying my prayers and I happened to glance at her making eye contact and she was looking at me, when I looked away I could see in the corner of my eye that was she still looking, for several seconds. I will paying attention now to see if it was a coincidence or not.
