In NY, the HPV is not required, YET. There is a move to require it, supported, of course, by the apostate Governor Andrew Cuomo. If this law goes through, I think there’ll be even more people pulling their children from schools or moving. Measles is one type of contagious disease, hard to avoid as its spread is airborne and fomite borne. Cancer caused by HPV is contagious, but is easily avoidable since it’s spread by sɛҳuąƖ contact. One could fly on a plane filled with people with cancer from HPV and never get the virus. The presumption is that children WILL be sɛҳuąƖly active by about 10 or 11, hence they should get a dangerous series of vaccines at age 9! They’re even offering it now to women up to age 65 because my doctor informed me last month that my insurance would pay for it if I wanted it! I’m only a few years younger. Fortunately, there’s an older lady in her mid-60s who is a nurse practitioner who has some common sense. She had to tell the younger P.A. that if a person has had naturally occurring measles, he’s immune for life. The P.A. wanted me to get the vaccine for measles as “extra protection!” I’m old enough that I’ve had mumps, German measles, chicken pox, whooping cough, all of them, when young. Then, he wanted me to get jabbed for flu, pneumonia, and shingles, all three, mind you, when I had bronchitis!
