  • I received this via E-mail:

I was absolutely amazed by the following 11 minute video.  Most traditonal TLM Catholics look out upon the post-V2 Conciliar church, and throw up their hands in near or absolute despair, or, at the very least, are critical of what is going on in the Vatican and within the  Novus Ordo dioceses of the world.  So critical are they, in fact, that many of these disgruntled Catholics take refuge in various Latin Mass options, offered through worship venues like SSPX, FSSP, Christ the King and the like.  But do we tradtional Catholics have any appreciation for how dissatisfied even our "separated brethren" have become in many instances within their own denominational confines?  Yes,  many Protestants appear to be equally unhappy with the way their sectarian groups are going.  They complain that the youth do not know the Bible very well, and have lost sight of what Christianity really means and is all about.  They rue the shallow curriculum of their religious schools.  They talk about the "dumbing down" of the Christian Gospel,  that often it becomes just a 'feel good' message with no real content,  that sin and redemption have become waning topics in the Sunday sermon, etc., etc,, etc.  I always thought Protestants, (particularly those of the Fundamentalist Evangelical variety) felt pretty smug and self-satisfied about their sectarian experiences.  But, apparently, not so in many cases.

  • Every serious Protestant coworker I've ever had, when I explain to him about the changes in the Catholic Church in the 60's, and why I'm a traditionalist, immediately sympathizes. Most of them have spent the last thirty years hopping from one church to another, looking for somewhere acceptable. Most of them are honest enough to admit that their pastors lack any kind of real authority. They realize that it is just a battle of opinions.

Unfortunately, it's difficult to convert them to the Catholic Church when it seems as if She has undergone the same crisis as their Protestant sects have. They point out immediately that the unity factor that the word Catholic implies seems to be lacking. When I try to explain that the True Church still does exist, but just as a small remnant, they nod politely and change the conversation. They have heard the same thing before from Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Adventists, and Moonies.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, there'll be no large scale conversions to Catholicism until the Impostor Conciliar Church is gone, or until Jesus comes again.
St. Jude, who, disregarding the threats of the impious, courageously preached the doctrine of Christ,
    pray for us.

  • That is so true, St. Jude Thaddeus, so true. Impostors have to be removed and dethroned from their impostor seats, so that everyone else can see the real Church.

Well, I believe the Perousia will most likely be the only time this will happen. Every is great, because God wills all of it, the justice and mercy, everything.

  • Well, the interesting thing here is, whether in the Church, or out of the Church, the words in the Bible are true, that if a work is of men... fake, false, self-serving and man-made... it WILL fail and fall apart. But if it be of God, it will stand.

Whether it's VII, or the protestant religions, if they're man-made, they WILL fall apart, for many reasons. And what do you know? Basically only tradition is both "holding" and even growing, rather than dying out or falling apart, or getting more and more watered down to nothing.

If the fake religions offer a social club, well... parties with friends are MORE fun and MORE social. If it's entertainment... well, concerts and games and movies are MORE entertaining. If it's self-help, well... one-on-one counseling with a paid counselor is even more exclusive to MeMeMeMeMe, and thus will bring about even more "self help" (eg, more nifs and silencing of the conscience). If they offer advice, hey... I can get that anywhere. Reading the bible? I can do that at home!

Whatever man-made religions offer, there is something much, much better somewhere else that the person can get without going to that church or being part of that religion. And the fact that religion has become for most people, the religion of the almighty self, means that people are more likely than ever to do just that... to just go to that something better or more fulfilling than what they're being offered. (The, "I believe in God, but don't belong to any 'religion'" crowd, for example... which is huge already and ever growing. Basically they've figured it out. If what they're offered is not maximally fulfilling and without ridiculousness or contradictions... they just do their own thing.)

It only makes sense that all false religions will eventually die out, for the most part. And the more they boil down to self-worship, the faster people will find the door. Look at that "springtime in the Church" ... Looks more like winter, now...
I renounce any and all of my former views against what the Church through Pope Leo XIII said, "This, then, is the teaching of the Catholic Church ...no one of the several forms of government is in itself condemned, inasmuch as none of them contains anythi
