    • His last address to the Red Rose Rescue conference, Dec 12, 2020.
    I was able to spend a few days with him over 10 years ago. What a great and humble man.
    Certainly Our Lady was able to escort one of her favorites yesterday.

    Well, let's hope so, but we need not to do canonizations.  I don't mean this nasty, but it is Protestants who declare all departed people to be immediately in heaven.  That's not a Catholic thing.

    I, myself, if I can somehow manage to die in the state of grace, may have to stay in purgatory until the end of the world, just like Sister Lucia's friend.  I'd probably have it coming.

    I have no doubt that Joe will have a much easier time of it than me.  Requiescat in pace.

    • No I am not canonizing him, although I can see where you got that impression- sorry. Certainly Our Lady can escort him to purgatory? I know she visits there.
    I really loved Joe Scheidler- he was top of the pops.
