  • Awesome quote!!!

“Look,” he said on that first day in September of 1983. “You need to be men in Christ’s priesthood. This is no place for wimps or pansies or queers. If I even suspect you are a queer, I am going to boot your butt out of this seminary. Do you hear me? Do you understand me?” he exclaimed in no uncertain terms, turning his very large head with its mane of white hair from side to side sticking out his jaw for emphasis and blinking his eyes several times to make sure he had made his point. “You are called to be celibates if you persevere in this man’s priesthood. But if you tell me you don’t like girls, there’s something wrong with you. Yeah, if you tell me you see a Number 10 walking down the street and you’re not attracted to her, there are one of five possibilities: Number 1, you are dead. Number 2, you are blind. Number 3, you are made of cement. Number 4, you are a liar. Number 5, you’re a queer.”

"I receive Thee, redeeming Prince of my soul. Out of love for Thee have I studied, watched through many nights, and exerted myself: Thee did I preach and teach. I have never said aught against Thee. Nor do I persist stubbornly in my views. If I have ever expressed myself erroneously on this Sacrament, I submit to the judgement of the Holy Roman Church, in obedience of which I now part from this world." Saint Thomas Aquinas the greatest Doctor of the Church

    Matthew 6:34
" Be not therefore solicitous for to morrow; for the morrow will be solicitous for itself. Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof."

  • Option number 6, you are a devout Catholic who remembers the consequences for sin and will not let yourself be open to temptations against chastity. I sometimes get called a homo by worldly lust driven ignorant faithless people who dont know the meaning of "avoiding sin". They think we should all be like dogs drooling when ever we see a female. Remember that females are often damned because of how men act towards them, they depend on us to save their souls ( most of the time), and they depend on someone to show them the way to the spiritual world, not to show them the lust driven road to hellfire. If the devil wants to destroy you, he will send someone of the opposite sex. He knows that few Catholics will deny themselves what they think is a legitimate pleasure of life. He knows that without strong faith in both people, that lust will fill the void, and that their relationship will destroy the faith of the one who has it.

I think I am called to chastity, therefore I have a different outlook on it. His words were adressed to those who are the average joe, whose duty it is to propagate the species. I wonder did he ever apply his own logic to himself, and think he could be justified if he committed masturbation "to prove he was straight". See how the devil drags you to hell? The minute you think you have a right to pleasure, he takes over.

His words are to seminarians who hope to become celibate Priests.  Masturbation proves a lack of control or an addiction or ignorance.  Straight or sodomites can and do commit it.
