  • I don't have anything to contribute to this thread, unfortunately, except my request. One of the only images of the Resurrection that I've ever been impressed by is in Gibson's The Passion of the Christ, but of course, it's not really an image - it's a sequence.

Another one that impressed me was a sculpture in a church choir somewhere in Germany (if memory serves).  It was all white, very high relief, and showed Jesus emerging from the wall.  I can't find it on the internet.

I'm looking for something that will replace the purple on my current laptop desktop.
What return shall I make to the Lord for all the things that He hath given unto me?

  • The best image is on the Shroud of Turin, of course, and the artist's interpretations of that which fill in the details.  (I can't get either photobucket or tinypic to work on this new Linux OS.)

    Matthew 6:34
" Be not therefore solicitous for to morrow; for the morrow will be solicitous for itself. Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof."

  • "This is the day our Savior broke through the gates of death.."
If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ" Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit" (Jn 3:5) let him be anathema.

  • So many good ones.
    Matthew 5:37

But let your speech be yea, yea: no, no: and that which is over and above these, is of evil.
