  • You know in the old days the only place you could find porn was a sleazy "art" house downtown (and your neighborhood book store) and if you were found to be walking into one of those something was wrong with you and you were a pervert.

With the advent of the neighborhood Yuppies consuming their Playboys, pornography has become a mainstay of our culture, where film, schoolyards, and even drug stores are saturated with perverted pornography.

As I mentioned in another thread one benefit of a Jesuit education was that the Jesuits ingrained into young boys at an early age that pornography was addictive, indulgent, degrading to women, and not values needed to have healthy marriages with the opposite sex, and Jesuits would expell kids on the spot if pornography was found in their possession.

With the liberal ideal however there is "freedom of art" and therefore pornography will continue to flourish in this liberal culture.
