    • I have a lot of questions; namely first of all, why? Especially if he is a sheikh. 

    Sheikhs are kind of their version of "people who know the religious law inside and out". Wouldn't he know that... Islam considers the idea of the Eucharist completely pagan? That even most Catholics are not disposed to receive? 

    Again, lots of questions.

    • No, it doesn’t make sense. 

    I was attending Mass in a neighbouring church, about 20 years ago. A little girl of about 9 took the host, and without consuming but keeping it in her hand, walked away, down the side aisle towards the side door. The priest has the presence of mind to put the chalice down and race after her to retrieve it, before she got out the door.

    There was some witchcraft in the area and I think an adult had put her up to it.

    In the OP the “priest” was completely blaze about it. I mean it is obvious from the man’s headcovering that he has little to no understanding of what being Catholic means even if he means no harm.

    • It is not surprising coming out of Brazil. 

    Theologically, that country is losing Catholics to Protestants like wildfire because the Brazilian Church stinks. It's full of liberation theology, celebrity priests that make the Mass about them and so much more.
