    Most non trads that i know have an average of 2 kids. Amish and trads have a much higher birthrate from my experience.

    • I have to blame the parents (among other things, as the parents were victimized by sweeping social changes as well.)
    They have indulged children and have not taught them responsibility. There are also so many divorces. Women are working outside the home and teaching their daughters how to get a "career". They should be teaching them how to find a good man.

    For us that would be a good Catholic man.

    I have nine nieces and nephews, six of whom are adults and being supported by their parents. If they don't have more than two dogs they have just as many cats. No kids. I would say that maybe its just my family that is defective but all my friends have the same experience.

    It is the televison, promoting materialism and atheist liberalism, dominating our cultural life. But how did that happen?

    What changed starting in the fifties?
    Communists coming of age.
    Their parents got special permission to migrate here after the communist Russia victory in WWII and they kept thier beliefs secretive.

    Communists changed the character of television which (the tv) could have been used for good and a societal blessing.
    Birth control pill was invented by communist researchers (and one Catholic).
    Abortion legalized by pressure from nonCatholic and nonChristian groups.
    The womens liberation movement under communist nonCatholic leadership.
    ACLU run by nonCatholic communists pushing seperation of Church and state.
    The "war on poverty". Massive social welfare schemes. Meant not simply to enrich anyone in particular but actually to disenfranchise the majority.
    The c...ok, I'll stop there.
