  • Heard a priest on ewtn radio talking about indulgences this morn, and he said "For the Plenerary Indulgence, you will not be certain if you actually gained it until you go before God", and Im thinking really? Anyone? Its really bugging me now!

  • I was always taught it depended on your disposition.  Example, a Plenerary Indulgence can be obtained by praying the rosary in front of the Blessed Sacrament.  However, if you are there only mouthing the words while day dreaming about whats for dinner, you will not earn it.
