First, remember what the bible says about judging. There are many of us here who don't believe all ordinations are valid if they are of the new Rite. So you say he is an ordained servant of God, I say, I need more information. Name of the bishop who ordained Fr. Younan and who ordained that bishop and when. And again I ask, what Rite was used?
Good Lord, why do I even bother? So you're saying that until you have the name of the Bishop who ordained the priest, when he was ordained, and what Rite was used to ordain him, you're going to treat all priests like plebs and not show them their due respect?
Perhaps this is not a lesson on slothfulness after all, but on pride.
Chalk it up to the sign of the times. If I'm going to receive the sacraments, I want valid sacraments from a validly ordained priest or bishop. If I wanted sacraments from just any one who was ordained, I could walk three blocks to get them instead of driving 70 miles round trip to receive them.
Also, my mother taught me better, I treat everyone with respect. If I don't, I don't doubt that the God Lord would let my mother come back this valley of tears long enough to slap me upside the head!
Might one ask, where do you attend church?
