  • It's not my style, there's no accounting for personal taste, but I don't see any harm in it. Actually, I think the 50 Hail Mary beads for the 50 states is kind of clever. Certainly we should pray for our country more, and this offers a specific and concrete way to do so.

Also, for someone who was personally affected (death of a friend or loved one) by 9-11, this rosary might prove a comfort.

My only critique is that at $59 it is a bit pricey.

  • It's ugly. And um... I don't know anyone traditionalist who says the "luminous" mysteries. I'll bump a thread related to a discussion we had about them.

But let your speech be yea, yea: no, no: and that which is over and above these, is of evil.

Turning a sacramental into something that commemorates the biggest lie in modern history is complete mockery and an insult to Our Lord and and Our Lady.

I'm sure the devil and his minions(zionists) are laughing at this.

  • All I have to say for now is that it is hideous, not to mention the fact that a priest can't even bless that thing because there is no crucifix.   LOL
Amen quippe dico vobis donec transeat caelum et terra iota unum aut unus apex non praeteribit a lege donec omnia fiant  (For amen I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot, or one tittle shall not pass of the law, till all be fulfilled. )

  • Nothing wrong with it.

Btw I'm trad preference and I pray the Luminous Mysteries because I am still in Communion with Rome and really liked Bld. John Paul II. Good man.

Also, a priest can bless any devotional object without a crucifix, e.g. mantillas, candles, chaplets, military rosaries and so on.

Yes, I may add also a good blasphemer and equivocator.

  • The site says this "cross", which that random piece of metal certainly is not, is:

    Quote from: the website
    a symbol
     to unite all sufferings -
of any kind and of any nation -
with the saving act of Jesus on the cross,
     giving comfort and strength.

There is no way to 'unite' the sufferings of those who hate Christ and actively deny Him in any way with His sufferings on the Cross.

Jesus died for the sins of those the Father gave Him... "pro multis", remember, not "pro omnia". (for MANY, not for ALL).

To offer 'comfort and strength' to heretics in their obstinate sin is itself heresy.

To insult Our Lady and turn Her Rosary into a cheap "50 states" commemorative is pitiful. We are not called to be citizens of ANY nation before we are called to live in this world as citizens of Christ's Kingdom and of His Church.

I do not pray for 'America'... I pray that sinners would be converted, that Russia would be consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and that Christians would remain steadfast in our faith. An 'American' doomed for Hell is no different than any other person so doomed, and I pray that way. Americanism, as well as any other nationalism that pretends to equate itself with our identity as Catholics and members of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church is worthless. Only Christ and our standing in Him matter when we pray.

EDIT: Oh, and Wojtyla was a heretic, a Communist and a friend of Freemasons and pagans. He is 'blessed' like I'm a supermodel.
This evil of heresy spreads itself. The doctrines of godliness are overturned; the rules of the Church are in confusion; the ambition of the unprincipled seizes upon places of authority; and the chief seat [the Papacy] is now openly proposed as a rewar

  • Praying for your home country and its leaders has a long tradition in the Faith. There isn't anything wrong with praying for the holiness of your homeland.

Any docuмentation on the JPII was a Communist meme?

  • Beuse JP2 was a heretic and a false pope, I don't trust anything he said. I didn't even learn of these so-called "luminous mysteries" until a few months ago, when did JP2 come out with it? I geenrally ignore anything coming out of the bogus ordo institution.

No, there isn't anything wrong with it, but you must understand that when I say I don't "pray for America", I mean that I do not pray this "g-d bless America" generic spiritualist nonsense that passes for prayer in many religions these days.

I pray for America and its leaders the way I pray for everyone and everything else: that it and they would come willfully under the Authority of Jesus Christ and His Church, that they would do penance for their innumerable sins and that they would abandon all of the ideologies of their "founding fathers" that were in total opposition to Christ and His Apostles.

Praying for the holiness of America would be like praying for the moon to be made of green cheese or for my neighbor's dog to begin printing money in their backyard. America need REPENTANCE, LONG before she even begins to imagine anything approaching holiness.

We have to be careful that we don't fall into the protestant error of talking as though 'holiness' were this static, unchanging condition that is imputed to people based on mere acceptance of belief. No, rather, according to Holy Church, indeed, according to Christ and His Apostles, holiness is IMPARTED, meaning GIVEN ACTIVELY TO, members of His Church, and is MAINTAINED and INCREASED by faithful reception of the Sacraments and continuance in the state of grace.

I will pray for the holiness of ANYONE or ANY nation that swears unalloyed fealty to Our Lord, His Church and Our Lady, but not for those who are willingly and stubbornly pagan or apostate.

Besides, the 'luminious' so-called mysteries are spurious, unnecessary and contrary to what has been handed down to the Church through holy St. Dominic.
This evil of heresy spreads itself. The doctrines of godliness are overturned; the rules of the Church are in confusion; the ambition of the unprincipled seizes upon places of authority; and the chief seat [the Papacy] is now openly proposed as a rewar
