I’m sitting here rocking my sleeping baby for her nap. She’s precious and worth every effort.  I’d do all in my power to keep her safe. It’s hard for me to imagine a mother behaving this way. This made my stomach feel ill. How could a mother do this to her own child?

After all that I saw in 30+ years of employment, giving birth does not in itself make a woman a mother in any sense other than biological.

Yet when I see quotes such as yours and from the other moms here on CathInfo, it's like a salve of encouragement.

Thanks, and may we always look to Our Mother in these moments too.

This is so sad.  I wish that someone could step in and actually care for Margo.

If it were a Catholic Society we could have orders of nuns caring for her.

What a horror story! Painful to see your own parents salivating at the opportunity to celebrate your proposed death. It’s ghoulish.

May God comfort Margo in her distress. It seems that she protests at the most apprporiate moments.

I cannot even imagine how she must suffer.
