I wonder what you would have to say about this, Matthew.

I am not a parent, but I can see that there are so many unnecessary things bought these days and that certain feminist and selfish presuppositions cause more problems and alleged necessities.

It depends on how well a family prays together, and loves God together. Many families who understand how mercy and justice work together don't seem to have difficulty with parenting.
