    • Russian Orthodox priest explaining the ROC teaching on contraception, he explicitly states that contraception is a direct violation of the Lord's first command that mankind  "multiply" and God determines when people are born and by interrupting God's plan we therefore become the "enemies of God". Well said.


    Seems the ROC is far more "catholic" than most of the Latin church these days.

    • More excellent teaching by the Patriarch of Belgrade. You almost don't hear ANY teaching on morals concerning abortion, contraception and big families here in the West from ANY Christians, be they Catholic or evangelicals.

    I absolutely agree with the Patriarch and absolutely believe what is going on now with covid and the worldwide commie takeover is the DIRECT RESULT of our violation of the Natural Law. (God's Law).

    We are being chastised and we don't want to call it out for what it is. At least these Orthodox will.

    • As with almost every modern issue in the Orthodox Church, the teachings on it vary completely from one patriarchate to another, and even from diocese to diocese. The Catholic Church, even with its infestation of heretics and modernists, still teaches that contraception is wrong everywhere. So I wouldn't be so quick to praise the schismatics.

    I will praise them when they are aligned with the doctrines and dogmatic teachings of the Church.
    Something our own pope isn't doing these days. ::)
