    God is infinitely merciful, but we must be careful not to take His mercy for granted.  We must be sincere when we repent and have a firm purpose of amendment, in order to receive forgiveness and mercy.

    True, God forgives always if we honest seek Him and repent....must keep a good balance on God's role as Judge/punisher vs God's role as merciful savior......
