Ten habits of successful people

I would not always define hard work as being back-breaking labor for 12-16 hrs a day, although that is certainly hard work.  I would say hard work would also equal NOT being lazy.  No one who is lazy can ever be successful.  A hard worker is also punctual, thorough, honest, reliable, etc.  Whether you are self-employed or work for someone else you can never succeed if you are lazy.

I agree.  Diligence leads to success and sloth leads to failure.

And even slaves can be successful, remember Joseph son of Jacob and Rachel?  Granted he was an exceptional man but his plight does illustrate how God can use a hard working man.
