Please give some real life, observable examples of traditional Catholics involving themselves in  occultic beliefs and practices. Be very basic and concrete.

Well, a lot of people say that Pablo the Mexican engaged in such.  There's a history in Latin America for people to combine various occultic practices with Catholicism ... such as in a "Santeria" framework, with the "Saint Death" junk, or some Mayan elements, etc.

Apart from that, did you read the link in the OP, where the article names the names ... Kwaknewski and others?

Not sure if speaking to I but give answer. Most catholic interest in occult have see on internet not so much in person. though is occult shop near where live. may visit just to see.

For self example have recent look at tarot. I not know much of tarot. think it something gypsy women do to tell future. Somewhere see claim that tarot best use is to use to understand self better. to understand different psychological archetype that make up human mind. Think it interesting idea. not know if it true but am looking to see. In any way find it more interesting and probably more important than argue about clothing or find new thing to call sin. Is why I think maybe is more important to young people as LightOfBethlehem3 say. Think some people tire of shallow answer. tire of silly faith like politic party or sport team. my side total correct. you side total wrong. Maybe they make bad mistake but what is better offer? listen to other lay people who have many problem? listen to priest and bishop who have many problem? Is like say in other thread. internet advice like drunk asking other drunk how to be no alcoholic. at least occult drunk maybe more interesting.

The Pablo phenomenon is probably something that he always did, even before he (falsely) converted to Traditionalism.

It is true that Latin Americans will mix Catholicism with African style witchcraft and Pagan beliefs and practices, but all the Traditionalists I know are well aware that this is a serious sin. There are a lot of Novus Ordo folks who like to get things mixed up, but I have seen no Traditionalists doing it.

The kind of occultism mentioned in the link is the intellectual kind, not the folk kind. It is usually something for the more educated and intelligent. It seems to me to be something that the more intelligent and proud people will be interested in. People always want something new. The sacraments, the Mass and Holy Writ get old after a few years, unless, of course, you have a real and deep faith. Then you will always find old and news things, like Our Lord said.
