    Quote
Vice chair Rob Moore says the studio is launching an advertising campaign designed to communicate that this film -- an exploration of Noah's emotional journey -- flows in large part from Aronofsky's imagination.

I doubt I will like Aronofsky's "imagination". :fryingpan:

  • Aronofsky is Jєωιѕн.

His imagination, at least on screen, is pretty amazing.  Unfortunately, a visually appealing Noah's Ark is utterly worthless if the message it conveys is ecuмenical, as I suspect this will be (from what I've read about it so far).

"Be kind; do not seek the malicious satisfaction of having discovered an additional enemy to the Church... And, above all, be scrupulously truthful. To all, friends and foes alike, give that serious attention which does not misrepresent any opinion, does not distort any statement, does not mutilate any quotation. We need not fear to serve the cause of Christ less efficiently by putting on His spirit". (Vermeersch, 1913).

  • I'm not sure how you can make a full-length feature film about a story in the Book of Genesis that is only 4 chapters long without adding a tremendous amount of extra-biblical material.
