According to Catholic teaching, there are 9 ways of being an accessory to another’s sin. 
  • By counsel.
  • By command.
  • By consent.
  • By provocation.
  • By praise or flattery.
  • By concealment.
  • By partaking.
  • By silence.
  • By defense of the ill done.
