Ok, enough sarcasm.

Seriously though, this is something we do all the time. Because we routinely empty our freezer/fridge, we never throw out anything. We don't waste food at all. If we had pigs or chickens, they wouldn't get any "table scraps" because we don't generate any. I will say, though, that it does take effort. You can't forget about stuff in your fridge, and you have to be willing to eat "what needs to be eaten" rather than "what I have a craving for".

Her house sure looks rich though. I wish my pantry was that large! How many people was she cooking for -- just herself and her husband? For $800 a month?
