Mrs, Betty Pfeiffer Passed Away This Morning Mon. 10/2/23

    • Mrs. Pfeiffer, mother to Fr. (Bp.) Joseph and Fr. Timothy Pfeiffer passed away this morning in hospital.  She endured many years of suffering, both mental and physical, which she patiently offered up. 
    Please pray for the repose of her soul, that Our Lord grant her mercy and she be soon in His and Mary’s presence. She will be greatly missed.

    Please pray for her husband, who suffers from dementia.  He has been told she passed, but can’t remember and keeps asking for her to come home.  Pray the Holy Ghost grant to the family wisdom in speaking with him.

    I’m awaiting info. on the funeral arrangements and will publish as soon as I find out.  Funeral will be at OLMC in Boston, KY, burial in family cemetery on the property.

    • Guys, a friendly reminder -- you can give each post a new title, at the time you create it. You know that, right?

    So when someone posts a blasphemous, vulgar, or other undesirable Thread Title and you post in that thread to correct them -- you need to change the subject line, OR YOU WILL BE PROPAGATING THAT DISGUSTING TITLE. By default, the thread Subject stays the same (with "Re:" added to the beginning of it)

    And here's the thing -- if I have to modify a thread's subject/title, I have to do it manually for EACH POST IN THE THREAD because, again, EACH POST HAS ITS OWN TITLE, EVEN IF THEY ARE ALL PART OF THE SAME THREAD. Call it a feature of the current software.

    Apparently even many CathInfo veterans are unaware of this feature. Time for another reminder. (Look for a new thread on this subject)
